Managing Company Policies & Training Manuals in The Smart DMS

The Policies section in The Smart DMS allows you to upload and manage key documents such as company policies, safety procedures, and training manuals.

How to Create a Policy #

  1. Navigate to:
    Policies > Create in the Central Panel
  2. Fill in the policy details:
    • Policy Name: Give the policy a clear, descriptive title.
    • Effective From: Choose the date when the policy becomes active.
    • Active Toggle: Enable or disable the policy.
    • Categories: Group policies under categories such as “HR”, “Safety”, or “Training”.
    • Policy Content: You can write or paste the content directly here using the rich text editor.
  3. Optional – Upload Documents:

    If your policy is in a separate file (e.g., PDF, Word doc), use the Associated Attachments section to:
    • Add a title for the attachment.Upload the file using the “Add media” button.
    📎 You can upload multiple attachments like diagrams, manuals, or videos.
