The Policies section in The Smart DMS allows you to upload and manage key documents such as company policies, safety procedures, and training manuals.
How to Create a Policy #
- Navigate to:
Policies > Create in the Central Panel
- Fill in the policy details:
- Policy Name: Give the policy a clear, descriptive title.
- Effective From: Choose the date when the policy becomes active.
- Active Toggle: Enable or disable the policy.
- Categories: Group policies under categories such as “HR”, “Safety”, or “Training”.
- Policy Content: You can write or paste the content directly here using the rich text editor.
- Optional – Upload Documents:
If your policy is in a separate file (e.g., PDF, Word doc), use the Associated Attachments section to:- Add a title for the attachment.Upload the file using the “Add media” button.
